About the “Pillans Point” Suburb of Tauranga
Pillans Point, a small suburb within walking distance to the city and with easy access to Mount Maunganui via the harbour bridge. Established in the 1960’s, there are some elite older houses with spectacular harbour and estuary views, many of which have been renovated. Some houses have been relocated making way for the construction of the modern, executive style of housing popular today.
Pillans Point Primary School has a very good reputation and houses within the school zone are always sought after.
